Published on May 20, 2015
We had the luck and the privilege to share the first single "Never Had To Go" from our 2015 release With A Lampshade On with the man himself, Dick Van Dyke and his lovely wife Arlene. They said come over and let's do a video. So we did. What a dreamy guy. At 89, he really can still dance like he's in Mary Poppins!
Released by Signature Sounds Recordings.

(8,812 posts)2. I must admit that I've been playing this incessantly
... ever since I came upon it in another Sanders/Van Dyke thread.
Thanks for turning it into its own thread!
BTW, I loved Dick's dancing onstage in the lead up to Bernie's speech, but also his remarkable and apparently extemporaneous introduction, which included an important reference to the Lewis Powell Memo, something I've long known about but that I'd guess that only 1 in 10 of my friends and family are aware of. Most of us are ignorant of just how ignorant we are!! Just as when Bernie mentioned Mossadegh in one of the debates, Mr. Van Dyke did a great service by mentioning this crucial but largely obscure document of the country's corporate instigated right turn.
