make a difference: The DNC is a great party with great history: Sanders
has not been able to trash it, and Dem should stand up for other Dem's
that are running for office. DWS has taken a lot of garbage for Sanders
cult, Joe is a proving again what a great guy he is.

Standing up for her and her shenanigans is absolutely the wrong thing to do.

to be a left wing story. I'm guessing you were to young to have watched the nomination process of Clarence Thomas and Bidens role in it. Educate yourself.

Obama 2008 vs 2012 and the two wouldn't agree with the one in 2016. in 2008 he was just Right of Center. in 2012 he's slightly to the left but out in Right Wing land than Hillary. Oddly enough though, supposedly he's more Authoritarian and she's more towards neither but Bernie he's left wing and a bit into that area but not middle. but he's neither Authoritarian or Libertarian. He's totally on that X line. He's the closest one to the Y line. Everyone else is no where near it. They are all huddled up in the NE corner of that graph on political compass

I was not so involved in 2008 and 2012 tho did vote Obama both times. Would like to see that chart for all three years, 2008, 2012, 2016. Have seen it for this year. Just bookmarked the progressive party that is forming. We shall see!

23. Joe Biden Backed Bills To Make It Harder For Americans To Reduce Their Student Debt
Fri Jun 10, 2016, 04:57 AM
Jun 2016

Vice President Joe Biden played a key role in the financial industry’s four-decade campaign to eliminate bankruptcy protections for student debtors.

http://www.ibtimes.com/joe-biden-backed-bills-make-it-harder-americans-reduce-their-student-debt-2094664

As a senator from Delaware -- a corporate tax haven where the financial industry is one of the state’s largest employers -- Biden was one of the key proponents of the 2005 legislation that is now bearing down on students like Ryan. That bill effectively prevents the $150 billion worth of private student debt from being discharged, rescheduled or renegotiated as other debt can be in bankruptcy court.

Despite opposition from Wellstone and other liberals, Biden became a prominent Democratic supporter of legislation in 2000 to further restrict bankruptcy protections. The initiative was backed by one of Biden’s top supporters: Delaware-based credit card titan MBNA. Not only had the company’s employees collectively become one of his largest campaign contributors, the firm had employed Biden’s son Hunter right out of law school and later paid Hunter Biden consulting fees while his father pushed the bankruptcy bill. MBNA's top executive had purchased Biden’s Delaware home for a price that Biden’s political opponents depicted as a sweetheart deal to a powerful legislator.

Then George W. Bush assumed office -- after a campaign bankrolled by the financial industry -- and the bankruptcy bill quickly came back to life. In 2001, just eight weeks into the new Congress, and with the Senate evenly split between both parties, Biden began once again playing a pivotal role as a co-sponsor of the legislation.

When the bill first came up, Biden cast the only Democratic vote for it in the Judiciary Committee, allowing the measure to advance to the Senate floor. Biden then worked aggressively to promote the legislation’s passage. During a floor debate with Feingold over the measure, he presented his effort to help the financial industry pursue debtors as a crusade to keep overall interest rates low for consumers.

The thing that's unusual is that this election actually gave us another choice that garnered enough support to stay in it pretty much to the end.
