I come from the working class of this country, and I will be damned if we allow the Republican Party, who represent the rich and powerful, to win the votes of working class Americans. The Democratic Party has to make an important decision and I say to them: Open the doors. Let the people in!

as for how many people have voted thats the problem. the people who voted may have changed their minds by now. Yeah it's too late but I really don't read much into that part anymore not during a primary spread over months. Now actual Election day , on a single day yes when the actual vote count is winning and not the Electorial count that I tend to disagree with. And I've never been much of a fan of how the Electorial College is set up. I am a fan of Caucuses. I wish every state had them. Since we see the chaos that comes from primaries and all these ultra rules etc. the DNC (ahem run by DWS) should really set a standard ruleset for Caucuses then Primaries. And also verify every 6-12 months if said people wish to remain Democrats (doing this during the year before a major election)

(67,420 posts)the democratic party has a completely open process for people to become democrats. every state has a completely open process for people to vote in democratic primaries/caucuses. just because bernie couldnt figure it out for 73 years does not mean the party doors are closed
