Oh... definitely the "NO" was louder!

The more Sander's supporters carry on like sniveling babes, the worse its going to get for any Progressive movement going foreward as the right wing will use their actions against us.
Its too late to save Bernie's campaign but it would be nice if his supporters could learn how to fight not just to fight, and that its time to step down with some dignity. I'm not holding my breath though.

4. The "nay" vote

was possibly TWICE as loud as the "aye" vote - and yet that was ignored - purposely ignored. Why did the revolutionaries of the 1770s persist? Why was it they kept on like sniveling babies? Didn't they realize their majesty had good things in store for them? Didn't they realize they'd have avoided a lot of mayhem if they'd quietly acquiesced to the crown?

Standard Washington DC practice -- good cop bad cop gets you what you want.

Yes, don't hold your breath, you'd surely pass out and we wouldn't want that.

Step Down? What arrogance!

C'mon, folks, how long will you keep whining before you learn your lesson?

If you don't like something, try to get off your butts and change things BEFORE they begin to negatively affect you. This way, if the changes you wanted affect you negatively, there is no one to blame but yourselves.

...Oh, and you have to be a registered Democrat to have any chance of changing things at the Democratic convention. Duh.

14. The lesson drawn is that Hillary is not a leader and not capable

of leading the nation.

The tension and distrust between Hillary and Bernie supporters in Nevada has been evident and even known to me as a total outsider since the caucus.

I'm not that involved in the campaign right now, so if I knew about the accusations of unfairness, it was pretty widely known.

The two sides, Hillaryites and Bernie supporters, should have been called to meet and agree on the convention protocol prior to the convention. They should have organized a schedule that gave each side adequate time on stage to present their points of view and rally their supporters.

Considering that the Hillary group only had about 30 out of many votes more than the Bernie group, NO VOICE VOTES SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE.

It is pointless to have voice votes when you know that the voting group is about half and half on each side of the issue. That makes no sense at all. Voice votes are only appropriate as to issues on which there is fundamental agreement. Voice votes are merely a means to save the time and trouble of counting the individual votes.

I have never heard of a state convention that was so poorly organized and run. Wasn't there one person on the organizing committee who knew how to organize so much as a desk drawer or a diaper bin?

WHO ARE THE CRAZY PEOPLE WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO ORGANIZE THAT EVENT.

I grew up in a household in which organizing was a daily task, organizing things, organizing people.

I have never seen a church supper as poorly organized as that Nevada convention. Goodness! What a bunch of incompetent fools at the leadership of the Democratic Party in Nevada. No wonder Republicans win the governorships of so many states.

No organization at all. That was the problem.

But then when you refuse to accept the fact that others may have legitimate reasons for disagreeing with you, it is rather hard to include them in the organization process. But in that case, it is all the more important to include them.

What a bunch of idiots. We need to remake the Democratic Party and not just for ideological reasons. We need to remake it so we get some well organized people who know how to deal with others in charge.

Glad she called "Greg" out on it (and did you see the condescending finger pointing...where are the Hill-supporters cries of "misogyny"?). Their deflection, denial, and lack of openness and transparency is cringe-inducing and straight out of the Republican playbook (and clear signs of guilt), but unfortunately par for the course for those who back the candidate they're trying to coronate. "If you are going to keep acting like this..." What, telling the truth and holding them to account? Absolutely shameful. With friends like these...

She gave it her all. I wonder why she stopped the sit-in and why her supporters did not join her?
They had no right to hold a meeting without her. She was the chair!

Anyway, I put it on the thread because it shows the dysfunction they had in Nevada all along leading up to the convention, plus the caucus had issues too.

Nevada Dem party has a lot of work to do!
