He was born in a military base and he's benefitted from government programs since then. It reminds me of Phil Gramm, another uber right wing hypocrite.

Yet, he rants against government and government programs.

Do people like Knight have the ability to understand the conditions in this country when Social Security was created? Does he realize the Great Depression is the result of policies and economic conditions he embraces?

We should be eliminating the SS tax ceiling of $110,000 completely. This could be one of the easiest problems to fix if all of our economic policies didn't cater to the wealthiest people in the ountry.

do away with all social programs the sooner the rest of us can do away with our reluctance to sharpen the guillotines.

How in hell do these people get elected? Oh yeah. Drooling dumb-asses desperate for some drama in their dreary double-wide lives crave something – ANYTHING – outrageous so they can identify with someone or something the sets them apart, even if the means being set apart from sane, rational thought processes and responsible behavior.

Conservatism is a serious mental disorder, and should be treated as such.

SS and Medicare and debt don't account for 69% of our budget. War and terror are what takes up the majority of our budget, not the above 3. Why do Repugs always lie, for once I'd like to see one use true facts. Of course they can't, because the facts are they want our $$ in Wall St. so it can be stolen, so they have to present these outrageous lies to try and deceive people into supporting something that will hurt them greatly in the long run.

The good news that while these Resmuglicans were once taken as the gravely serious "adults" in the room, they now have as much credibility as a snake oil salesmen -- with Trump as the greasy Standard Bearer ... God, the comedy never ends ... my laugh muscles are getting sore ...

Just remove the cap on all earnings. If you work, you pay into the SS fund. It is really that simple.
