U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Saturday will kick off a swing through Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will host rallies in Providence, New Haven and Hartford. Sanders will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care.

My family all voting for Bernie on Tuesday in Connecticut! So very impressed by the young Bernie canvassers. They have been everywhere for the past six months. Plus, they registered many, many new Dems to vote for Bernie. The Democratic enrollment has soared here. What a positive group of millennials, so proud of them all. I'm a senior, but am spending time sending out texts and emails to friends.
