It was meant very lighthearted and with humor, but thanks for changing it!!! I noticed lots of media outlets have already written Sen. Sanders off....shame on them.

Republicans get the WH, and keep the House and Senate. Of course many who claim to be Bernie supporters really don't seem to care if that happens, as long as Hillary isn't in the WH!

The massive Republican victories in 2010 and 2014 were largely caused by people not voting. Because Democrats put up shitty candidates that could not drive turnout.

That's a really impressive plan.

Or you could vote for the shitty Democrat, get her/him elected and then primary them when they run for reelection. Of course, this plan requires some effort.

If you vote for the shitty Democrat anyway, you keep getting shittier and shittier Democrats.

Or you could vote for the shitty Democrat, get her/him elected and then primary them when they run for reelection.

So...how'd that work with Lieberman? He lost his primary, but the party rallied around him anyway? How 'bout Blanche Lincoln? Surely the party would not interfere with a primary just to ensure the "wrong kind of Democrat" does not win...oh wait, they did and got crushed by the Republican in the general because of it.

Of course, this plan requires some effort.

No, this plan requires you to be utterly unaware of recent electoral history.

I like Democrats who want to advance the progressive movement. Not ones who act like everything is a conspiracy, everything is rigged, and everyone is corrupt if their special pony candidate doesn't win.

maybe they can be a factor in shaping US politics. They appear to be putting all of their eggs into one basket. I'm sure that some of them are supporting local candidates. It's just not very encouraging to hear so many say that they're willing to desert the Democratic party if Senator Sanders doesn't get to carry the basket.
