(7,888 posts)I support Senator Sanders and agree with those Democratic leaders, like VP Biden, who say we need an alternative all the way to the election and perhaps even beyond.
I am not discouraged by Mrs. Clintons win in NY. In fact, the voter suppression going on at the polls in many states is so disgraceful it did encourage me to make another donation to Senator Sanders campaign.
Whats going on in the CBC (DNC,DSC) as it relates to Donna Edwards? Are Clinton supporters trying to influence the outcome of this election? Is she being punished for taking Progressive positions and supporting Senator Sanders campaign? I will donate to Rep. Edwards campaign even though I do not live in Maryland.

(3,795 posts)Your political ideals and preferences are fucking crazy and you all are ridiculous.
But, you HAVE to vote for the same politician that I love because you have nowhere else to go. Too bad. So sad.
Simply lovely message that, isn't it?!?!
But, that message is probably reaching its expiration date thankfully. Our political preferences are already employed in other developed countries that are less wealthy than us so clearly it's possible. We do need to elect politicians that care more about average Americans' well-being over that of multi-national corporations and the financial elite though. Election and voting system reform will have to happen first before we are successful in doing that.

For example, in India. Just read the news there.

Don't worry, Mrs. Clinton, we're not going to take you down. We're going to take down your paymasters.

(25 posts)Perhaps Senator Sanders could have "earned" my vote for the Democratic presidential nomination had he spent more than the past few months of his political career leveraging his Independent status. He will "earn" my support by defeating Secretary Clinton in the Democratic primaries as I will back the Democratic nominee. I hope that should he not be successful that he will remain a "D" rather than an "I" when he returns to the Senate.
