Firms Seeking Influence Pay for Clinton Speeches - Associated Press

Published on Apr 21, 2016
It's not just Wall Street banks. An AP review has found that most companies and groups that paid Hillary Clinton to speak between 2013 and 2015 have lobbied federal agencies in recent years, and more than one-third are government contractors. (April 21)

Private speeches, private email servers, anonymous, paid internet posters. And we want her to be President why?

I think it's because Bill was bad to her and she deserves the Presidency as compensation.

….the public humiliation of the visible girlfriend, the embarrassing sexual details and the impeachment that made her have white-hot laser focus on redeeming the story to be about her as the First Female, rather than have it end on that tawdry Bill stuff.

It seemed like the humiliation drove her slightly mad—or at least crazed, because she sure seems unable to give up the project.

Hillary always asked "Point to what I've done to influence policy," and I always thought a great, simple answer would have been "While you have done things for these companies, it's more about them buying influence for the future, not what you're doing now." Or maybe just the last part of the sentence.

People need to be made aware before April 26 primaries. Our society is headed for a FDR type new deal with Bernie or a Mussolini type corporate state fascism with Hillary. I am frightened for my children and grandchildren. Bernie will send them to college, Hillary will send them to war.

16. The corruption or perception about corruption is not the worst part of all this

What I find particularly objectionable is that she sold herself cheap. At an average payday of $210,795 she is selling America for less than a 1/1000 $ per person that she delivers. I dont buy into the bad deal nonsense from Donald Trump, but this is just giving the shop away. You would have to be a dum smock to be at or near the pinnacle of political power in this world and then sell yourself off at this prince point. Facebook does better by offering up a bit of social media. And she wants to run the country???

17. And most that pay any EX- government employee for speeches -- including all our former

Presidents -- also have lobbied the Federal government.

Making speeches is the primary way many ex-govt people make money after they leave the government. Others take jobs with the companies they used to regulate. Is that better? Or should we tell them that after they leave office they're not allowed to make any money anywhere?
