America going to war against soda?

Recently in New York City, Mayor Bloomberg declared an all-out war against soda. Bloomberg has proposed a ban on super-sized drinks, but now he isn't alone in the fight against the sugary beverage. RT's Abby Martin has more.

Or is it just soda (which happens to be much more harmless than alcohol)? If people want to treat themselves with a nice-tasting beverage every now and then, I say let them.
