At the very end she is caught mocking Ben Jealous stuttering when the camera catches her as it switches to her.
She is a mean mean girl. So disgusting to me.

(41,171 posts)and cheerleader continues with nasty, mocking behavior typical of that age. Have seen it more than once.
The whole Surrogates Team is becoming tiresome. Barney Frank just flipped out, incoherent and angry on MSNBC with Lawrence O' D. and Nina Turner doing his same old stale establishment defending spiel ad nauseam. He's worn out.
GeorgiaPeanuts
(2,353 posts)Lawrence made a great point that Barney had no response to.
If Current members of the government are not allowed to give paid speeches to special interests (it is illegal) then why was it right for Secretary Clinton to do so prior to running. Basically bringing forth the argument that the corrupting effects of taking huge amounts of money from special interests via paid speeches is seen as so obviously corrupting that it is illegal, yet she did them prior to running for office.

(41,171 posts)Her questionable fundraising activities, bold untruths and secrecy are very concerning as I learn more every day. Repugnant.

(5,506 posts)it is showing. Close to implode time?
She must be calling in favors from the last 20 yrs. Why would Barney Frank be bothered to go on MSNBC to shill for her. He has retired, married & could easily avoid this crazy election cycle. Or, perhaps, there's more to Dodd-Frank than we realize. JS
appalachiablue
(41,171 posts)the usual, unoriginal and banal talking points, as if from the same script. Barney has been making appearances for some time, like a year especially beating the drum, 'hands off the banks!, Dodd-Frank is enough'!, and 'Bernie is all wrong' on his financial plan like even Krugman has been enlisted to promote. It's predictable and ineffective; how can their sponsors not realize it, and the fact that many people are too informed now to buy what they're selling.

(5,506 posts)This election cycle will certainly go down as transforming our nation. Hopefully, we will learn something from it.

(1,779 posts)born in the United States, she should be a presidential contender. She was born in Canada.
On this issue -- H v B -- I think she's wrong.
But she is a very smart, insightful person. In this case, she made a mistake.
I tell folks that I make a thousand mistakes by breakfast and I am only getting warmed up to the mistakes I will make in the course of the day.
Go Bernie!!!
MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)But, I doubt she is as smart as she is passionate about women getting into politics. Her message on many things showed wisdom on the War Room, but she clearly has been blinded by who should get in office and not why.
I respect your opinion, though.

I hope this starts trending on Twitter. She needs to apologize. These Clinton people are monsters...all of them. What a collection of bullies and liars.

(2,353 posts)It looks a lot like she is spazzing her hands out which is common when people mockingly imitate people with disabilities like the ugly example of Trump mocking the reporter.

(54,065 posts)I see her waiting to get her 2 bits worth in . But mocking? Sorry but you're claiming to be a mind reader of you saw scorn or mockery on het face. Feelings aren't facts and emotional projection isn't as argument.

(1,511 posts)That looked pretty bad, not sure about getting out of this one. It seemed very odd, they probably have footage of her to see how often she was doing that to know for certain, but maybe they also switched to her to show it.
Should could have had a yawn and a spine tingle all at once, it would fit that, but just odd timing.

(541 posts)Never thought I'd semi praise Dubya, but he did apologize when he ribbed a reporter with an eye condition for wearing dark sunglasses during a press conference in the rose garden. Doubt this whoever her name is will do the same, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, since she was caught on camera.
