(250 posts)...with new users, and some older inactive ids, posting the newest iteration of 'I once was a Bernie supporter now I support Clinton' diary if the day. Or the 'I'm a new user and this is how I became 'inspired by Clinton'. Or this is the new line of attack on Bernie. Etc etc etc. and if you call them out then you are the one sanctioned because of it.
The ownership there is sooooooo in the tank for Hillary it is silly.

(10,558 posts)He used to have a regular poster to his chatroom that everyone suspected was a paid for right wing troll. As it turns out everyone was right because the troll eventually found better employment in the military at which point he confessed his earlier sins. Even after enlisting in the military he kept up a regular dialogue with his (new) buddies over at Thom's chatroom. From what I understand, during a tour over to Afghanistan this person stopped all communications with Thom and friends, folks from the chatroom who had come to know him were quite concerned for his well being. I've not kept up on the story but like my fellow fans of all things Thom Hartmann I hope this particular ex-troll well.

(18 posts)I see a lot of this in the sanders subreddit, especially during the whole new York daily issue. It's always a good tell, when they first mention they are a big supporter of a certain candidate then explain what they don't like about said candidate using GOP talking points.

on his "boiler room" reference.
i heard more than 2 occasions leading up to the afghanistan attack and then again leading up to the iraq attack, where it was clear that a string of 'seminar callers' were working together. they used the exact same formula.
several oddly articulate callers (especially noticeable calling rw radio late friday nght) would each add another of the standard "let's go to war" talking points reinforcing the 'case ' for war, and then it would end with a guy with an arabic accent in one case, and a peace and love hippie stoner the other, objecting, and then some 'patriotic' redneck would call and attack the 'traitor' and if he wasn't too old to re enlist he would tomorrow.
and the left still ignores rw radio, often because they believe the rw talking point that the market for talk radio in the us is 95% to 5% for the wit and wisdom of limbaugh levin savage and hannity over hartmann miller goldman rhodes schultz......
and we let these 90 universities support 270 limbaugh stations!
