I haven't read The New Jim Crow, but I certainly have followed the praise of her connections to the civil rights movement and how important her voice is.

She feels exactly how I feel and have expressed myself although with a bit more snark. I guess she is dead now to the Hillary supporters here since she advocates a new party that can hold the Democratic Party accountable. Such a brilliant woman!
