Overall it was a bit bizarre... and that segment about the tax returns showed her to be confused... George II Apr 2016 #13

I've been using TurboTax for years, but not the online version. But I save PDFs of my full returns George II Apr 2016 #15

and she can't call up her returns?

She can get them ONLINE from TurboTax. She doesn't have to be home.

I think that the next journalist to interview her should mention that.

Thanks for posting it!

On edit: I just watched it. This was a major fail on Jane's part. It seems that she thinks if she just talks and talks, everything will be okay. I couldn't figure out what she thought about superdelegates and how that should work; she was all over the place.

...she said that their tax return would be released "when they're due", as though that's a long time in the future.

They're due only 7 days after the interview - on Monday, April 18 (the day before the NY primary)

Any guesses as to whether that will come true?

It was as if she doesn't know that they're due on the 18th.

I also don't understand the not having time to go home to find them remark. Assuming for argument's sake that she can't log on to Turbo Tax to print them, and must go home for the hard copies, why can't she make a quick trip to Vermont from NY to get them? I don't know why Halpern didn't follow up on that.

each year. I would suspect, being a professional (i. e., former college PRESIDENT) that she would have all of this on her computer or on archive disks. I certainly hope she doesn't have to go rooting through boxes in the attic looking for paper copies.

The whole thing is way too fishy - right down to a Presidential candidate having his taxes done by his wife. Cheesy.
