SNL Open: "Hillary Clinton" discusses her campaign and the NY primary

*cough* carpetbagger! *cough*

The video is a little flaky and repeats itself about two thirds of the way through, but it's the only video of the skit I could find online at this time.

It's interesting and ironically funny to use the term carpetbagger to someone who moved to NY, but I get your point.

And I also love the irony of your DU name contrasted to HRC holding the three eyed crow from Game of Thrones.

The whole piece was a riot.

I've been a fan of crows for many years now. Sure, they're noisy and raucous--but they (and all the other corvids) are astonishingly intelligent creatures.

I also love those birds. We have many of them down here in South Texas.

Grackles & cow birds, but no ravens.

Oh, and we have some unbelievable green jays.

was hysterical.

Love how they captured what a fake she is. Which she is.

She's very easy to mock. So much material.

You may not remember it, but virtually every young city person in 1968 was getting romantic about the idea of living in the country. After his move, he worked variously as a carpenter, filmmaker, and writer for four years. In 1972, he began his political career with a run for govenor of Vermont.

Contrast this with Hillary Clinton, who purchased a home in Chappaqua, New York at the age of 52, once she was urged by prominent Democrats to run for Daniel Patrick Moynihan's open Senate seat. The Clintons bought the house in 1999, just in time for the 2000 election.

Surely you can see the difference?

carpetbagger (noun, derogatory): A political candidate who seeks election in an area where they have no local connections.

I appreciate the effort. I was curious as to how much of the skit the version I'd posted had omitted.

Much obliged!

I hadn't had a chance to see it, and I laughed very hard as she was attempting to jump the subway stile.
