Sanders situation. He doesn't do his homework, or read beyond the Headline.

to lies and innuendo.

The only reason we even have the term "swiftboating" is that Kerry let the lies about his Vietnam service go unanswered for far too long. Weeks, I'm thinking. However long it was, by the time he responded it was too late. A lot of people believed the lie.
