such an intimate look into her process.

(86,802 posts)all of the above, perhaps its the camaraderie I felt when she showed up with a toolbox that looked more like mine than anything I had encountered to that time. I'm a little younger but I had already been performing , sporadically, for some time when I first heard her. That unapologetic range and unformatted style set me free.

(3,919 posts)her songs accompanied me throught my teens, 20's, 30's and on up to now - my 60's. all of her music is on rotation and sometimes pulled out and played with special devotion - so many fav - ladies of the canyon, blue, etc.
aging beautifully, too.
