And the welfare reforms did not lower poverty during his administration the overall tech bubble economy did that. The reforms only started to hurt when they were needed most. They are still hurting in places that don't have a waiver now where single men, but not women, only get 3 months snap benifiets unless involved in retraining programs that might not be available or working I think 20 hours a week.

than that, it NEEDS to be understood that there is a very real crises with lives of all ages being taken every day, often as casually as one might light a cigarette,

Seldom (fuck that almost always) without charges placed against the murderers enabling, in fact encouraging other murderers to not only continue killing, but celebrating paid vacations (yeah I've seen that as have others here on COP online discussion sites, really, cold and happy like that) I know some here have seen such shit because I've followed links from this site

Now I don't trust or like cops and never did they fucking beat me near to death when I was sixteen just for shits and giggles, I likely never will trust or like them because of what some do or have done and have to force myself to realize some or maybe many for all I know are decent people (I try real hard to think no group is monolithic), I can't really say because I would never call them and avoid them whenever I can, but sometimes they follow me for just being a bit brown, and black is worse to them.

How many are good and how many are bad others with more experience, say from cop families can decide that.

Buy no one needs to be just brushing them off like that, the movement is a real life emergency thing, what I do know is that the only way to treat the ones that break the law as the criminals they are is to not let that shit be charged and prosecuted on anything lower than a federal level, because they hang out with and are friends with (literally) the DAs and the prosecutors that deal with them now. No shit, that's how it works.

What anyone in power or near the ears of power or potential power LIKE BILL. needs to do is not only listen but to assure them, and I don't mean pretend to, that they will make sure laws are fucking passed that puts cop criminals in fed hands not friend hands, or just shut the fuck up and let them get the word out with your goddamn mike to those that will.

That fed thing is just an idea, but any idea that will make it so they treat cop murderers like other murderers is good if it works.

I don't talk about this much because, I am not BLM and they know what the need to do more than me, but fluffing them off is not cool. If he didn't know how to fix the shit he should have just given up his mike for ten minutes so they could get the word out to the power that needs to hear them and fix this shit, he's a multimillionaire, he could afford to give up ten minutes of his time rather than tell them how great he made shit for them in his mind.

13 year old kid get beat down pretty badly by three cops with those stick things they use and hauled off a couple days ago, he is a neighbors kid and a polite young boy, that as far as I could tell coming out of my house as it was happening having heard the screams, and according to other neighbors already outside, was just playing football in the street with a couple other neighbor children. An account I believe because they do just that on a regular basis. sometimes just two playing catch or makeshift small teams. We live on a dead end street so they only sometimes have to back off to the sidewalk as a car passes to park down street.

It bothered me, it upset me very much, I'm an old guy but when I hear a child screaming, my instinct is to run to them and protect them, but you can't protect them from cops, only watch helplessly on the side, shaking, or least I was shaking, then hugging his mom.

Sorry I puked my emotions all over the page. I could nave said my pierce in a more respectful way to those that read here.

Such is the price you pay living on the east side of Buffalo, worse stuff happens around here all the time, but this kid I know and it happened right in front ff me.

People need to hear the truth of what is happening in the streets and the cities, and not have it filtered through the media, who often distort facts in order to protect the Establishment's viewpoint. ( "This cop beating on a kid looks bad, but the kid MUST've had it coming...." ) Just speak the truth....it's all powerful.

Towards the end of Bill's two terms, much of the economy went bust and the boom was a matter of CEO's cooking the books, like Enron and the Dot.com bomb. This is why they enacted Sarbanes-Oxley in 2002.

So if he is being accurate about kids on crack going and killing other blacks then his actions make little sense. Instead of then passing crazy incarceration laws under the guise of the war on drugs which targeted a whole race, African Americans. Why not attempt to educate drug users and treat drug addiction.

And don't call them super predators, call them drug users!!! The Clinton's are being dishonest again.

Thu Apr 7, 2016, 06:08 PM
Apr 2016

I was working for a non-profit in a very depressed area of Los Angeles in part of that time, so I know what you are talking about. But the closing down of the War on Poverty that occurred prior to the Clinton administration had a lot to do with the crime increase under Reagan and the first Bush as well as under Clinton.

It's very complicated. I totally sympathize with your statement. But just allowing police officers to treat so many young people like criminals simply because of the color of their skin is not the answer. It will not bring back the victims of crime. We need a justice system that treats people with dignity.

And above all, we need a rehabilitative prison system especially in our juvenile halls.

Thanks for your reply. It is much more difficult than we can express on the internet.

I am very sorry for that. But, what may have appeared to be good at the time has proven to be a disaster over time. Sending someone to prison for possessing a joint, or for shoplifting a loaf of bread because it was a third strike is also a travesty.

I said the same thing in one of my previous posts. Gang members are predators, the lowest of the low and that goes for ANY gang member regardless of race or ethnicity- black, white or Hispanic. They're destroying their communities. The good citizens who are directly affected by these parasites know that what he's saying here and what Sec. Clinton said is the truth. I find the defense of gang members appalling I'm happy someone is publicly debunking the false narrative that Sec. Clinton called AA super predators.

Makes no sense piling on because this is my view and the view of many in my community. I admire BLM for the work they have done but they do not speak for every AA and they aren't mistake free either. This time they got it wrong in my opinion.
