I'd rather suffer true defeat than have to force a grin through false victory. Those who say progressives stand to lose everything if we don't settle for incremental pacification should shift their view to the long game. Hillary represents the status quo, and even if her multi million dollar speeches to wall street consisted of nothing more than the recitation of nursery rhymes, they were a token display of her loyalties, intended to bolster their confidence that her superpac is a worthwhile investment and would have a direct influence on her directives, should she reach the Oval office.
