OK, I did all this but the last part. Believe me, it's so much better. I have not turned on my TV in over 14 years and didn't even try to watch it for years before that because reception was so bad out here. I wish everyone would at least do that first line...Blow up your TV. This world would be a much better place. Oh yeah, and quit listening to conservative talk radio.

I have gone without the tv machine for a considerable length.
The image that crosses my mind reading this thread though is 'ostrich with it's head in the sand?'.

Right here at DU is where I come for, what appears to be, the straight skinny and refutation/back story of the corpomedia message.
A combination of tv and social media seems, to me, to be a good balance of information.
