It means that things really are as bad as we think they are - and the Roberts Supreme Court really has handed over our democracy to the highest bidders - giant corporations, foreign governments, and the likes of the Koch brothers.

1. Ah but the sun came up again today,

there was no overwhelming smell of cut flowers, and no angel singing sweetly at my feet.

Means, it ain't over yet, and looks like my life ain't done either.

Oh good, now if we can find ways to not be bought, AND survive/endure/sustain these lifetimes.

Remember this one: Have done so much with so little for so long, that I believe I can do anything at all with nothing at all.
