The fact that Titanic is such an unlucky name is just the topping on the shit cake!

RMS Titanic wasn't just a ship that met with disaster, it was a symbol of Gilded Age excess, a floating playground for the upper 0.1% and 0.01%. This replica will be the same.

I certainly hope that the "near exact" replica does not include the double-hulled design flaw which caused the ship to take on water faster than it otherwise might have and that it is different in that there are more than enough life boats for all.

At least the route shouldn't include icebergs this time.

I've always been interested in history, but this seems sick to try and get money (backers) and pleasure (guests) for an event that cost so many lives.
