Said by the man who introduced Bernie at this Rainbow Coalition dinner back during the Reagan junta.

That's what we need in this country--voter and citizen participation!

It was wonderful to see this clip of an early Bernie Sanders' speech. His critique of American politics and economics under Reagan is s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o right on! And s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o right now!!!

Sanders has the clearest (not to mention most consistent) vision of what America is about than ANY government official or politician I've ever heard. (Started listening, in general, in 1960.) He isn't as smooth as JFK, and he isn't as personally charismatic as JFK or RFK. But for clear and consistent--based on a robust and well thought out political philosophy--he is tops. I can hardly believe my ears when I hear him talk, he is so right (as opposed to wrong, or fuzzy blah-blah). As for charisma, I'm feeling the charisma of ALL OF US.
