Well, it looks like it’s official. Jeb Bush has fallen so low that he is now begging his audiences to clap for him. It doesn’t get much more cringeworthy than this.

though he certainly appears to be a better human being than Trump or Cruz but that is saying virtually nothing.

A little off topic: this reminds me of a Romney Ryan stump appearance in 2012 where Ryan was pre firing up the crowd before introducing Mittens to the stage and the crowd seemed actually jazzed and chanted Ryan! Ryan! Ryan! And when mitt stepped on stage, his ego apparently bruised by genuine excitement about his running mate, grabbed the mic and said 'no, it's ROMNEY, Ryan!'. I think jEB and mitt have the same entitled ego thing... Gotta have validation (applause or whatever) in all they do.
