Obviously this guy is not local. Have watched many war games both on the coast and inland for years. Between Navy Bremmerton, Fort Lewis, McChord, and Farchild, there always seems to be an exercise going on somewhere in the state.

This dude needs to get out of his office and check out the sunlight.

Kilgore.

We did 2 hours of parade practice, 2 hours of dismounted drill, lunch, 2 hours of funeral training, firing party, marching platoon, casket team folding the flag carrying the casket. and the last 2 hours were riot control training. Sometimes we would spend all day doing riot control training in a mock city with soldiers playing demonstrators and snipers. And this was in addition to our summer field war games, we used to shoot blanks. That makes the rifle very hard to clean because of all the cardboard in the chamber. The first sargent would inspect each rifle to make sure they were clean before we could eat dinner. I then started not to shoot but pretended to shoot and would give my ammo blanks to other GIs . Then all I had to do was just dust off and go to dinner.
