TYT: UFC Weigh-In Woman Caught Staring

A woman is causing controversy for staring and making faces at UFC fighters when they weigh in before a fight. Some say it is sexist because a man would not have been allowed to ogle females the way she does to these fighters. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point) hosts of The Young Turks discuss.

Do you think what she did was sexist? Let us know in the comments below.

“VIDEO footage of a weigh-in girl staring at male fighters before a UFC event has spread across the internet, triggering a debate around her actions.

The young woman, who was at the UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, was captured on film multiple times as she checked out the fighters getting weighed before the event.

While the event took place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan Hotel on December 10 last year, the footage has only just begun to circulate online.

The woman is seen wearing a blue polo shirt, and repeatedly stares at each fighter as they undress on stage.”

#0 sez: "My 2 cents is that men don't mind being objectified- At least not to the degree we're seeing here."

Equal fairness across the board. Don't google eye woman or men period. The consequences of doing such action should be equally doled out.

"If they'd only clothe themselves modestly, they wouldn't be a temptation to anyone."

"Didn't their parents teach them how to comport themselves like gentlemen, instead of flaunting their assets in such a cheap fashion?"

Extreme for the irony-impaired.

There are two NEARLY nekkid ladies in orange costumes who can be seen sneaking a peek in some scenes as well.

I don't think her oogling was that bad, I think she was just closer than she ordinarily is to naked strangers and reacted accordingly. She wasn't pawing them, or anything like that:

Let's just say it's obvious to me that they know she's looking. Trust me, they're OK with it.

who is mugging in such a way that I wonder if she doesn't deserve an Oscar. She's the only female person on the stage who is dressed in clothing that is decidedly unrevealing, making her stand out from the other two lovely young ladies in their orange, skimpy costumes.

I have to wonder if they didn't ask her to exhibit, in a controlled but unrelenting fashion, a laser-like focus on the attributes of the gentlemen, in order to gin up this little drama, create the clickbait, and get everyone talking about the event for which these gentlemen were stripping off to weigh in.

The self-satisfied grins on those fellows telegraph the "I know I look good" vibe; so I do agree with your assessment. They're likely 'in' on the scheme.

But hey--it made the news. People are talking. Mission accomplished!

People aren't getting all this cosmetic surgery, working out, starving themselves, and devoting hours each day to beauty routines to NOT be objectified. People don't want to be harassed and they dont like rudeness, but most people want to be desired.
