GOP Debates: 3 Times the Audience. Nobody is watching the Dems

Last edited Sat Dec 19, 2015, 11:03 PM - Edit history (1)

We've already lost this election if the Democratic Debates are hidden with no viewership. Thanks to the DNC (Wasserman Schultz) trying to give Hillary an "edge" but losing the election war in the process

Just look at their "important looking visuals" in contrast to the Dems

The democratic debates are an opportunity for the Democratic Party to present its candidates and their messages to the american people in direct contrast to the horrible clown show the Republican Party is presenting.

These debates have been deliberately scheduled to have abysmal audiences. That was done at the behest of the Clinton campaign, as they viewed the debates as a "nothing to gain, everything to lose" situation for her candidacy. In other words this was done to benefit Clinton in the primaries while damaging the eventual nominee in the general election.

There is no need for more Democratic Party debates. The candidates can get their message out as much as they want to whoever they want and to whoever wants their message. We live in the age of the internet and social media. Any of the candidates can set up websites and connect to voters, young and old, through social media.

The DNC is not preventing anyone from getting their message across. It is very possible that by using social media the candidates can reach just as many, if not more, people than they can through the debates. The candidates could ask their social media followers to use social media to spread their message by reaching out to their friends, families, and followers.

I can watch debates (if they are even allowed by DWS/DLC) between any candidates; I can watch forums, speeches, ads, punditry as I want to when I want to.

Social media or streaming podcasts. There are so many ways to get (mis)information than being stuck watching a blathering set of politicians and a blithering set of moderators.

Bernie has been very good at using the new media, just as BO was before. I'll assume that the HRC crowd also knows how to use blog posts, tweets, etc. Don't know about the tube-tied reputards.

Even the un-fox news is so far to the right it's about to fall off the edge of the earth. And they don't REPORT anything: they just state a headline and move on.

Just let the democratic party politicos and the money behind them pick somebody for us and we can confirm them. Wait a minute they already did that. Being afraid of alternate positions is just silly.

The media talks about the GOP debates for days, and the candidates get bumped up or down in the polling depending on their performances - unless they are Trump, and he just seems to stay in the top spot no matter what he says...

Bernie is getting big crowds. Hillary is making speeches. We don't need big drama and bare fisted fights between our candidates. We will make our mark when we vote. The republicans can have the fights to the death gladiator fights. Right now what the republicans are doing is propaganda for after the election which the know they are going to lose. They are just setting up the dialog for afterwards.

Seriously.

Nobody does that, and anyone who does shouldn't be voting. Know your candidates. Know why you're voting for them.
