Those are the guns I want off the street. Punitively high liability insurance rates will get them out of suburbia. When they're gone from the legal owners, punks won't be able to steal them or buy them hot.

As for the park, I'd hate to see it closed over this shit. A better idea would be super bright lighting plus cameras. Make it less of a punk magnet.

Huge Shootout a Block From Wrigley Field Includes 86 Gunshots, 1 Injury



WRIGLEYVILLE — A shootout between two groups of armed men also drew shots from police officers a block away from Wrigley Field early Sunday morning, police said. The shootout, which one witness said the police told her included 86 shots fired, also resulted in one man being wounded.

Around 3:05 a.m., two police officers from the Town Hall District were conducting a traffic stop in the 1100 block of West Patterson Avenue when they heard gunshots coming from the intersection of Racine and Patterson avenues, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

that's what the local blowhards on the limbaugh and LOBOS station 770 KKOB will broadcast all over the state telling how more guns stop this shit, interspersed with gun show and gun shop ads (really), and don't forget to tune in to the lobos bball show..... followed by mark levin!!!! and limbaugh and savage...... but dont forget lobos basketball!!!!!
