It was in the winter of '07, I think. I was walking my dogs down Barrington Avenue (Los Angeles), and they were walking uphill. When our paths crossed my older dog got in their way slightly, and that's when I recognized them.

They stopped for a second, smiled at my dogs, we shook hands, and that was pretty much it. If they weren't the stars they are, you'd think they were just a nice, quiet empty-nest couple like any other in the neighborhood. No airs at all.

we tried the middle of the road for almost 8 years and it hasn't worked out too good for the working class, the rich got a whole lot of love, but not the working class.
