But there are places where they build structures that force the deer to cross the highway at certain places. I don't think the caller knows this, and it sounds like she thinks moving the sign will move the deer. One edit: I suspect the caller may be having a little fun with the hosts. If so, she certainly maintains a deadpan attitude.

You are correct about the structures, but they do not cross the highway.

The fences force the deer to cross under the highway.

I have seen underpasses, and even a couple overpasses. In Utah, there is a system of fences and large cobbles that force the deer to cross the road at a specific place. There are numerous signs and flashing lights warning drivers. And you need to heed the warnings if you ever find yourself there, because it's a busy crossing, and the deer have learned that the cars stop for them.

I have never seen one that forces the deer to cross the highway.

I have only seen the over or under crossings.

First of all, I think she was serious, which is scary enough.

Who are they reproducing with? 2x stupid is very, very, scary.

So let's think about this. Do you know anyone that would date, no less have sex with, when you meet her and the conversation goes to deer signs?

Every guy I know would immediately split once hearing this. The one that stays, and supports her theory is the really scary part. If those two reproduce,,,,,,,,

I would think this percentage is very, very small. But the possibility scares the shit out of me.
