Posted by Tom Pride
French journalist Nicolas Henin who spent 10 months in close contact with Daesh as a hostage says the West bombing them is what they want:
Why are we making so many mistakes? Why are people so misunderstanding their vision?
He also says Daesh hated seeing Syrian refugees being welcomed by the West and that we should be providing no fly zones in some areas of Syria instead of bombing it.

(1,333 posts)For Assad to be removed from power, for Syrian and Russian jets to stop molesting them, for the US and the west to be drawn into the war against the Assad govt. This man is talking like a crazy person, so no talks about stopping their illegal oil trade or stopping their weapon route from Turkey or supporting the true Syrian people fighting win the SAA. None of that, lets just do the biggest thing the ISIS terrorists have been trying ever since this war started to get the west to do i.e. to draw us in.
I think just about everything this poor soul is suggesting would speed up the rise of ISIS and give them more power. The so called Syrian democrats he is talking about works with ISIS, they sell them weapons, protect their convoys as it travels in and out of Turkey and both work on the same goal as ousting the legitimate government in Syria.
I would try to be nice to him and just say he is suffering from a severe case of Stockholm syndrome and is now saying everything he can to help ISIS after they spared his life.
