Wasn't it during the campaign in '08? The pregnancy seemed to come from out of nowhere and there was speculation that it may really have been Bristol's baby and mother Sarah was covering for her because an out of wedlock child by Palin's daughter was a sure loser for McCain/Palin.

Now with two out of wedlock kids that can't be hidden sure makes me wonder if those rumors were true back then.
