I had an opportunity to go to another city known as Dalian in 2006. It was on the coast and the air was much better than Beijing. And the city was much cleaner. Beijing is fairly clean. It's the air thats the problem.

Thanks for posting this. I don't know if the government truly knows how to solve this problem. Beijing will say they are working on it, but it may just be propaganda.
