with our candidates.
In the mid-70's, he presciently picked up on the Firesign Theatre's George Papoon, whom they offered for U.S. president.
Papoon's slogan: "Not Insane"
John was photographed wearing a button bearing same.
P.S. Sean has opined that he doesn't think that Mark Chapman acted alone (but hasn't elaborated, as far as I know).

Miss him still, and always will. I believe the blond fellow next to John in the photo is Pete Shotton, his best friend in high school and an original member of the Quarrymen.
