my daughter's anyway. I won't be contagious by then and my grandson must have had his anti chicken pox shot by now so it's all good (he's been in full time preschool and they make sure kids have their shots). Things are looking up!

course of things.

I'm taking advil daytime and Percoset at night which makes me sleep and sleep. I've been needing an unusual amount of sleep which means my body is using lots of energy just fighting this thing. And I have had a lot of stress recently, causing other physical symptoms according to my doctor (flushed face, for instance). I'm getting used to looking freakish now.

My neighbor has been a godsend...I joke that he's going to be my third husband, even tho he is gay and has never married. Nobody's perfect...

me,her mom and her aunt (my son's wife) to go see the Crivelli masterpiece at the Gardner Museum in Boston the Friday after Thanksgiving. The fact that she wants to see a masterpiece from an artist nobody has ever heard of is something miraculous. I can give her a little tutorial on linear perspective and Renaissance art and she's willing to listen to her old grandma is heartening to me! But we've always been conspirators...

I'll be doing an essay on this painting her at DU in another week or so, depending on how improved I feel. I worked on it a bit in my hotel room in D.C. and it helped take my mind off of the health situation...
