....should watch that video before the Bruins' next game with the Montreal Canadiens.

It embarrasses me the way they behave, but then again Canadians are a lot more civil in many ways than Americans.

I often hear many people wearing Rangers jerseys muttering the words to Oh Canada.

....could be relentlessly obnoxious during the playing of "Oh Canada". It was even worse back in the old Adams Division days.

Having grown up in NY as a Rangers fan, and my cousins growing up in Toronto as Maple Leaf fans, I've seen a similar rivalry for 50+ years, but always "friendly", never like the way Boston fans act.

I remember years ago going to playoff games between the Hartford Whalers and Boston Bruins in Hartford. They had to hire about 100 extra security guards for those games - it was a cheaper and easier ticket for Bruins fans to get (only about a 90 mile drive), and they showed up at the games fully drunk. There were dozens of arrests at each game.

and get the shuttle to North Station. Hockey crowds were subhuman. I could stand the Celtics crowds, I could stand the punk crowds, I could stand the rap crowds. The hockey crowds should have been rounded up and reeducated out of being rhesus macaques. I hated knowing hockey was being played that night. If I didn't go to North Station, I had to transfer down the line and cope with them there.
