TYT: Christians Very Offended By Starbucks Holiday Cups

Starbucks is under fire from conservative Christians. They claim that Starbucks holiday coffee cups are too minimalistic and do not fully celebrate the birth of Christ. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point) hosts of The Young Turks discuss.

Do you agree with the Christians? Will the War on Christmas ever end? Let us know in the comments below.

“Some people are angry about Starbucks’ new holiday cups. Really angry.

What is the issue, exactly?

In previous years, Starbucks’ iconic holiday cups, which the chain uses in lieu of white cups in November and December, featured wintry or Christmas-themed designs like snowflakes, ornaments and nature scenes. This year, the cups are more minimalist -- a red ombre design that Jeffrey Fields, Starbucks' vice president of design, said was meant to embrace “the simplicity and the quietness” of the holiday season.”

Will they stuff themselves with more cafe lattes than is advisable, or buy whatever Christmas crap a company puts out, all to ensure the continued existence of every company that meets their expectations?

Think Chick fil-a, Hobby Lobby or those bumpkins who said they wouldn't supply pizza for a gay wedding.
