Good for them for trying so hard though. I know they'll keep it up, and, hopefully, get that debate I've been hearing about.

But, they get instant amnesia HERE over the same "ignorance" that the HRC supporter is accusing the BLM of having while yelling and poking fingers at them.

A scene right out of 1984.

I was keeping my mind open until she refused to say "Black Lives Matter" during the first debate. As one person said "We're saying "stop killing us" and people are saying 'but'..... " That is what the All Lives Matter folks are saying and she is standing there saying "but" when she hears people pleading for bodily safety for themselves, their siblings, their parents, their children.....

It is an unhappy reminder of the comfort she seemed to show with dog whistle politics and coddling white supremacy in 2008. Any hope that that was a show limited to the context of having a Black opponent. While still unacceptable, I would feel slightly more comfortable if she was a ruthless politician who didn't truly believe half of what she said. However, her "but...." is a stance that does and will continue to enable the continuation of the ugliest US traditions.

If need be, I will reluctantly vote for her if she is the nominee. But, I hope very much that will not be the case and other than the mark on my ballot, I will not raise a finger to help her.
