I couldn't watch this all the was through. He looked so uncomfortable and awkward.

I'm not a big Burt Bachrach fan, and it was like a seventies acid flashback for most of the show, plus some echhh performances by Sheryl Crow and Lyle Lovett that made it really drag. This harmonica performance was spectacular:

Also not a Bachrach fan, Stevie can make any song great.

Maybe Stevie should have sung "What's up Pussycat?"

Thought it was an okay tribute to Bacharach and David, but loved the way our President spoke with such grace and eloquence as he presented the Gershwin Awards. Found myself wondering how Rmoney might handle himself on such an occasion...the stuff of nightmares!

Please forgive me if I asked a stupid or insulting question. But I thought the person sitting next to the Obamas -- to the left -- might be the great man himself.
