2. It got a lot better when Stevie Wonder took out his harmonica on Alfie

I'm not a big Burt Bachrach fan, and it was like a seventies acid flashback for most of the show, plus some echhh performances by Sheryl Crow and Lyle Lovett that made it really drag. This harmonica performance was spectacular:

5. I really enjoyed the show and most of the performers.

Thought it was an okay tribute to Bacharach and David, but loved the way our President spoke with such grace and eloquence as he presented the Gershwin Awards. Found myself wondering how Rmoney might handle himself on such an occasion...the stuff of nightmares!
