Mike Malloy - Plots Against Pope Francis Are Coming From Conservative Christians

A plan to attack the Pope Francis has been thwarted, less than eight days from his planned trip into U.S., according to a U.S. representative.

The pontiff starts his six-day trip next Tuesday in Washington, D.C.

He will first visit the White House and lead a papal parade before moving on the New York and Philadelphia.

On the Sunday Morning political talk circuit, the head of the House Homeland Security Committee told ABC News, that one particular plot has already been disrupted– but didn’t get into specifics.

I've been worried about this since the moment his visit was announced.
Please stay safe, Pope Francis.

What is WRONG with us?

Any serious death threat to Pope Francis will come from some crazed conservative Roman Catholic. I pray daily for his safety but Francis watch your back. The majority of the world loves you because you are down to earth and you tell it as it is.

The channel is called: "SignsofThyComing" With shit like this circulating, is there any wonder the Pope is getting death threats? And, why, why does YouTube not only allow this insane, RW bullshit; but, put it as 'next?'

I wouldn't be surprised if FOX "News" claimed it was a Liberal at fault.

Even if the guy was a white evangelical member of the pro-life movement and wore a Confederate flag t-shirt and a tri-corner hat with teabags a danglin'.

nor anything asserted by a Texas Republican, especially this one, a former prosecutor who has been so very involved in the Texas and national security state violations of Constitutional rights. Gawd, read his resume! (Notice the cybersecurity bill he sponsored.)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_McCaul

Here's another item that stuck out, discussed under "controversies":

In August 2011 AlterNet reported that McCaul, along with John Culberson and Ted Poe, was attempting to remove the right of deceased soldiers families to choose which prayers, if any, were to be read at a soldier's funeral.[4][5] The three politicians were said to be attempting to impose Christian ceremonies on the military funerals of everybody who has served in the military, regardless of whether or not the deceased was Christian and with or without the consent of the family of the deceased. The three politicians stated their demands were a response to Veterans Affairs (VA) banning Christian prayers at military funerals, however, VA state this claim is "blatantly false" as VA respects a families "rights to pray however they choose at our national cemeteries".[4][5](my emphasis)

So THIS guy--not the Homeland Security agency itself--this fascist politician reveals a plot to assassinate Pope Francis, that he says "we" foiled.

I'll tell you, my very first thought about this--even before I looked McCaul up--was, WHY? Why is someone revealing this information? Then it turns out that it's yet another non-elected, fascist congress creep.

Why did he reveal this? It wasn't even the security agency (though I'd question them, too, revealing such info).

Cover?

If somebody kills or attempts to kill Pope Francis, I'm going to look at McCaul. I'm going to wonder where he was, or what, if any, his connections were to the event. This smells!

It could be that he is just grandstanding--trying to look important. But to alert potential assassins to Homeland Security's activities is suspicious, in my view. Why did he do this?

There are a number of candidates and candidate groups for potential assassination plots against Pope Francis, starting with a couple of members of the Supreme Court and their fascist Catholic organizations (McCaul seems to be a Catholic, by the way*), and including the Miami mafia, the CIA**, the Bush Cartel (Cheney and Rumsfeld still running around loose, among others), various fascist billionaires with interest in becoming trillionaires, Exxon Mobil and brethren (who want to kill talk of climate catastrophe until they corner all the remaining oil), fascist Latin American mafia (such as the "Black Eagles" in Colombia and similar groups in Honduras) with likely ties into the DEA and other "war on drugs" agencies, fascist Latin American military (being 'trained' by the U.S. military, here), our own homegrown rightwing nutball 'christians,' including nutball 'christians' like billionaire recluse Howard Ahmanson (now deceased) who was the initial funder of our e-vote rigging system, and others.

All of the above are extremely dangerous individuals and groups. That's a lot of different potential perps but, tragically, that is the state of things. We have MANY potential assassins of leaders who dare to speak up for the poor.
