These two dashcam videos have emerged on social media showing a huge fireball shooting through the sky in central Thailand shortly before 9am Monday morning. The footage above taken in Bangkok shows the fireball blazing through the sky around the 30-second mark.
There was no confirmation on what caused the fireball at time of writing. Theories circulating online, however, included an exploding helicopter or other aircraft; a meteor; or a satellite re-entry.

Just a couple years ago another one blew up over Siberia causing damage and injuries.

What's up with the traffic in that first video? 20 seconds in to it you see on the right a center concrete barrier to separate traffic, then there is a lane of traffic on this side of the barrier going the opposite direction. Never seen that before. What's the point of the barrier if traffic flows like that.

(1,782 posts)Earlier in the video you can see it's two roads. The barrier is there just before the merge is complete.
