Marine invites country musician to be his date at Marine Corps Ball, and He Accepts!!

We've all seen this kind of story played out in videos, between a starstruck fan and the musician they admire -- but perhaps this one has a twist in that the fan and the invitee are both men. In case you missed the videos... first is the invite, the second is the acceptance -- yay!

Great how that worked out! Reminded me of when Marsha Brady asked Davy Jones to be at her prom.

5. I am in awe at how brave the marine is even though he can be legally gay and out!

I was in the navy and around marines quite a bit, I just hope attitudes have changed along with the laws! Plus he is out about his hiv status. I admire the crap outta him.
