TYT: Pollster: “Nothing Disqualifies Trump"

Pollster Frank Luntz has been continuing to conduct focus groups on Donald Trump to see if there is anything the candidate could say that would hurt his poll numbers among supporters. Spoiler alert: there is not. "It's on his hat." Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola (Think Tank), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"Republican pollster Frank Luntz peered into the GOP’s id by questioning Donald Trump supporters about his appeal — and he found the results terrifying.

“My legs are shaking,” Luntz said...

“When Trump talks, it may not be presented in a pristine, PC way, but we’ve been having that crap pushed to us for the past 40 years,” said another man. “He’s saying what needs to be said.”

Trump announced his candidacy by slurring Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists — and he has since launched attacks against women, Black Lives Matter protesters and Fox News personalities and has proposed mass deportation and suggested the 14th Amendment is unconstitutional.”*

He will very likely be the nominee, and will pull every single racist out of their caves.

If the Female, and Latino vote turns out, and I think it will, Trump will get crushed.

He is speaking what passes for normal upper middle class white idiom
and it is that honesty that resonates. He makes no excuses, he is what
he is.

Hate to say, it's sort of like what Reagan did in 1980, when no one gave him
a chance, or what Obama did in 2008.

Seems candidates of both parties get into more trouble when they try to be
something they are not. When every word or idea is parsed for the maximum
impact on important voter blocs while minimizing damage to other voting blocs
the result is only a partial political dialogue that sounds like watered down pabulum.
The Bushes are famous for this, they stand on both sides of many issues if you listen
to different PR or speeches at different times. Be for and against everything and you
are guaranteed that all people hear something they like.
