That put his father in a predicament: How should he respond? Its a strong gauge of just how far a parent is willing to accept his sons decisions when they break the typical gender norms.

And although it can definitely be a challenge with one's progeny, it's even harder, yet the rewards can be even greater, when it's someone you aren't related to or romantically involved with.
