Hillary Clinton arrives for $2700-per-ticket Portland fund-raiser

Hillary Clinton arrived at a Portland fundraiser Wednesday that attracted many of the area's prominent Democrats.

The former Secretary of State and First Lady arrived just before 2:30 p.m. at the Dunthorpe neighborhood home of Win McCormack and Carol Butler.

McCormack, one of the state's biggest Democratic donors, and Butler, a political consultant, hosted the 2,700-per-person event.

I suppose they could have a fundraiser where they sold tickets for $10, but where would they have it?

If you want to see the candidate speak in person, maybe even meet them, well, sad to say, you've got to pony up the money.

$2700 is cheap, relative to the Repubes.

On the other hand, the idiot repubs. are getting donations in the MILLIONS from single payers like Sheldon Adelson and the Kochs. Two brothers gave Raphael Ted Cruz 15 million. Walker from Wisconsin is getting even more from the Koch brothers.

in SUVs and BMWs, chant about something the other party did 80 or 50 years before, and then drive off with nobody joining

and this union had brought 10,000 people at its height before it went corporate
