Thom Hartmann: What's the Difference Between Cancer & Donald Trump?

Billionaires and corporations are using society to amass profits and power for themselves. In other words - capitalism has entered it's cancer stage - and it's spreading to our political system.

As the poster boy for the cancer of corporatism run amok. It pervades the whole Republican party, and all their clown car candidates, and has now infected "centrist" and blue dog Democrats as well.

But what Thom failed to mention was the ultimate outcome of the whole cancer / corporatism run amok scenario: After commandeering all the resources of the organism for its own unlimited profit / benefit - over the immediate short term at least - in the end, the cancer only winds up destroying the organism that is its host - which ultimately leads to its own demise as well. And so, the essence of this cancer-like state of affairs in our nation is GREED - unbridled corporate greed, which is the most shortsighted and blind thing in human society, politics and economics. It is so blind that it can't see that it is ultimately bringing about its own demise.
