Jeb Bush Goes After Elderly, Forgets Elderly Is His Voting Base

Jeb Bush has made it very clear that he wants to destroy Medicare, the most used health care program in the United States. To do this, he plans to “phase out” the program in order to move in a newer, secret, unspoken program that will, evidently, be better than Medicare. As it turns out, Jeb is actually alienating the largest demographic that will actually vote for him.

Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio and Farron Cousins discuss this.

He's tried to walk back some of the comments, or at least shoot the messengers ("the reporters took my comments out of context.&quot

James Ellis BUSH can woo seniors -- i.e. current Medicare and Social Security recipients -- by saying that his changes will impact those who are not yet eligible to draw these benefits. And he will try to sell the concept of health vouchers the same way he sold school vouchers here in Florida: "you'd actually have more choices by taking the vouchers to whatever doctor, hospital or nursing home you prefer." And not unlike school vouchers, the medical expenses beyond what the vouchers cover remain the responsibility of the bearer. Only instead of modest tuition/fee/book balances, we'd be looking at catastrophic expenses for the majority of the population who have saved almost nothing for retirement. If he or other GOP candidates get elected and eliminate the Affordable Care Law (it's no longer an act), insurance companies can charge whatever the market will bear, drop anyone whose pre-existing conditions cast a shadow over their profit/loss projections, and institute lifetime caps on coverage. In short: we're screwed.

He's slime.
He's a spoiled, privileged brat who's never worn a military uniform nor put in an honest day's work in his life.
He's also very dangerous and must be stopped.

when shown the facts-------------------he makes stuff up.

Here you go Jebby, read this little bit of information on overhead costs of Medicare compared to the for-profit health insurance there Jebby.
And while your at it, why don't you look up the word Pedantic----------------- since you are just like in many ways just like your criminal brother ----------- a liar, and your Ethos really needs to be questioned.
And by the way the 2000 election has not been forgotten

I'm old enough that I remember a time that after what GW Bush did to this Country any relative of his would have been ashamed to show their face not to mention run for President and instead of being booed off the stage is considered to be a viable candidate. I don't know if it says more about the Bush family or the electorate.
