Mike Malloy - Huckabee: "Iran Deal Will March Israelis To The Oven"

Last edited Tue Jul 28, 2015, 06:38 PM - Edit history (1)

The presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has said the deal between six world powers and Iran regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear ambitions will “take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven”.

The former Arkansas governor made the comment, with its allusion to the Holocaust, in a conversation with the conservative news site Breitbart.com.

“This president’s foreign policy is the most feckless in American history,” he said. “It is so naive that [Barack Obama] would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.

And so it is with Iran, as it is with all countries. Ahmedinejad, who threatened to destroy Israel, is now gone, and has been replaced by a president who is much more moderate and amenable to negotiation and compromise. If this had not happened, the hard liners in Iran would have prevailed, and Iran wouldn't have even negotiated with us in the first place. But such subtleties - as well as the facts - are totally lost on the vast majority of Republicans. And Bibi Netanyahu knew that, he was counting on Republican ignorance when he made his dire, "doom and gloom" pronouncements about the Iran nuke deal.
