Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders capped a weekend in Louisiana with this Sunday Night, July 26 Rally attended by an estimated 4,500 eager fans at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, LA near New Orleans.

"I don't know if we can squeeze any more people in here," Sanders said as he looked at the cheering, sign-waving crowd packing the Convention Hall.
"Some people told me Louisiana is a conservative state. I guess not", Sanders said to the cheering crowd.

5. Sanders is one of a kind, I could listen to him all night. We the People are so very fortunate

to have him working to make our lives better and our country stronger. I had the honor to see him speak at a 2 hour Policy Forum near DC (not a campaign event) several weeks ago. He spoke with strength and power like I've never seen, and I've heard a few of them in my life. What a wonderful event and crowd tonight in terrific New Orleans. A Man of the People he certainly is.



I saw New Orleans once and fell in love with it. I hope to return one day!

values and intelligence. Bernie has a very quick mind that is fascinating to watch like with Chuck Toad on MTP Sunday.
