Jindal Proves He's Out Of His League -- Loses Cool During Time of Tragedy

I'm sure his advisors said it would be a good thing to leave the campaign trail, considering he is sinking like quicksand anyway, but the defensive fierceness you hear in his voice, especially in the latter half of the questions shows he has all but lost his case for being US President. He just can't keep his cool. Want to bet he knows this was a sly way out of the debates? Cunning. Manipulative. Self-serving. Oh yes, he fits all those descriptions.

But mostly pathetic.

"No answers for you today. Come again later when I've prepared something to say...."

Emotionless. Witless. Heartless.... and defensive.

(insert nervous repeated nodding)

"It hasn't been 24 hours... it hasn't been 24 hours..." (repeat, ad infinitum... ad nauseam)

How sad though. His political ads through time have heavily focused on his "love" of guns. And now we have this shooter, who was once involuntarily committed to a hospital for a serious mental health issue, who was able to buy a gun in Alabama.

Or is he trying to sound more like a Southerner when he speaks? If you can stomach it, check out his SOTU response from 6 years ago:

I'm no expert in dialects but I'd say he's trying to appeal to the low-IQ voters by pretending to talk like them.

Subtle, Piyush!

Let's wait until the incident is no longer fresh in people's minds and he'll be glad to discuss the gun issue in the abstract.

People have to grieve. Give them at least a month before we start talking about taking people's guns away. And reset the clock when this happens again in two weeks. Those families gotta grieve too...

But guys like this are interested in political ambitions above anything else.

Sad.

This shouldn't even be controversial for anyone. Is the NRA going to stand up there and support mentally ill people buying guns?

I want to see how that plays out.

If they can't get together on this one issue of a mentally ill man legally buying a gun they are not just extreme--they've gone over the cliff.
